Season finale full of emotions for the EQUA AVALANCHE.
After the World Cup in Zurich the season is essentially over.
A glorious balance to say the least for this team that has won medals at the Italians, in the World Cup, at the Olympics and at the world championships.
President Ercole Spada wanted to seal it all by organizing a big party at the team headquarters, the large sports center in Santa Cristina di Bissone.
A convivial evening with moments of great emotion. People and personalities for an evening of friendship and smiles. In the kitchen, Ercole Spada’s faithful served over 150 people. Stories, photographs, conversations about the past year and the year to come.
A catwalk with all the athletes of the team who spoke to everyone present about their ambitions and expectations. Great people have emerged behind the athlete’s jersey.
Month of December:
Sunday of the Immaculate Conception reserved for the great Christmas lunch. Various personalities were present and also Bruno Reverberi, owner of Bardiani CSF Faizanè, the professional cycling team of which the CSF group is sponsor.
Team visit to Nalini, technical sponsor for clothing. Nalini is a historic company, a company in which a piece of international cycling was written. Moments at times of strong emotion arose when the athletes visited the company, met the employees who were able to touch the Olympic medals first hand.
“Nalini proudly supports Team Equa“. These are the words of the General Director Giuseppe Bovo. In the 2024 season, the Equa team showed off a beautiful new uniform resulting from the NALINI style department.
Less than 24 hours after the visit to Nalini another great happening:
On December 20th, the Giro d’Onore took place at the Palazzo della Regione in Milan, a traditional cycling festival organized by the Italian Cycling Federation to remember and relive the salient moments of the season that has just ended. We are talking about 105 medals divided between the five cycling disciplines.
Present as always was CONI President Giovanni Malagò.
Special guests included Team Equa athletes Lorenzo Bernard, Elena Bissolati, Fabrizio Cornegliani, Chiara Colombo, Claudia Cretti, Luisa Pasini, Martino Pini, Davide Plebani and Ana Maria Vitelaru. The Giro d’Onore remains one of the most prestigious events of Italian cycling in the world.
Last but not least:
a special volume on this exceptional season is coming out. A book of almost 200 pages entitled “THE EQUA AVALANCHE” covering all the exploits of Team Equa this season. Limited edition produced directly by CSF INOX GROUP for athletes and team managers, customers and V.I.P.
